Hello! This is a bilingual writer/coach’s view of Typeless voice keyboard based on AI technology, write from anywhere, walk in the park or lying on the bed 🙂
How it is useful?
I’ve been using a tool called Typeless. It basically lets you talk to your phone without typing. Yesterday, I showed it to my mentor (a masterful coach, Dr. Maria), and she was so amazed at this tool that she even used the F-word! I think it’s time to let more people know about it. I also want to thank my friend Yidi, who recommended this to me first.
So, what does Typeless do? Dah! It lets you talk to your phone so you don’t have to type. And it also works on Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.
This is especially useful when you are a writer and your brain is faster than your hands.
And Typeless will help you organize what you talked into logical paragraphs and also remove any typos.
Write articles by talking to your phone, while you walk 🙂
This is great for bilingual people like me. Even though my English is fluent, sometimes I still have some typos. You actually need to experience it before you understand its magic. For example, right now I’m not writing in front of the computer for this article. I’m walking to the park and enjoying some nature. I can even hear birds when I talk to my phone about this article, which is amazing.
I get to experience what I actually love while my body enjoys itself. It’s a new definition of writing. Sometimes when I’m tired, I just lay on the bed, close my eyes, and hold my phone closer to talk to it. And yes, it can be used on laptops too. You can just sit there and talk to your microphone. Bingo! You don’t even need to open your eyes.
What else? Replying to emails:
- You can talk to your phone or computer about those emails.
- You don’t need to worry about formatting.
- It will—voila!—make it into a beautiful, nicely formatted email with all the dates, times, and bells and whistles.
It is awesome. Forget about spending two hours writing and removing words. Just close your eyes, talk to your phone, and let your consciousness and ideas flow. How amazing is that?
Imagine when you’re replying to emails or messages and you get angry at the person. You just sit there, pounding on your keyboard. But now, you can use Typeless to actually shout out that anger, and it will not show up in the text.
How amazing is that?
One thing I don’t like (minor drawback)
Of course, it has some minor drawbacks. When I was using it to reply to messages, I found the structured paragraphs were a little bit too formal. I guess there’s a trade-off: a perfectly formatted message versus a humanly typed one where some flaws feel more natural. But that’s mostly it.
Give it a try – it is free
I highly recommend giving it a try. I have been using the free version of 4000 words/week for a few weeks and recently switched to paid version of $12/month. The free version is pretty generous with 50K words, like a thin book of words for one year 🙂
If you would like to use my affliate link, I can get some free words typeless.com/?via=meng-chen. Or you can go to the website, Typeless dot com. And install it on your phone, your laptop, or both.
I hope your body gets a break and some enjoyment free from typing.
I think this is the beauty of AI: it helps us do things in a more enjoyable way. We focus less on manual tasks and more on the flow of human creativity, which is part of the human essence.
Sending love,
Meng
